Serve: How can you lend a hand?
There are many opportunities to serve within the church.  From making coffee to children’s ministry to music ministry there’s a place for you to use your unique gifts to service others in the church.
We currently need volunteers in the following areas:
Sunday Services
Due to our continued growth, all of our ministries are in need of more volunteers.  There is a place for everyone to serve at SMUMC. Below are some areas where we could use your help:

  • Guest Services — In guest services you can be one of the first faces who welcomes visitors on Sundays and helps them find their way around SMUMC.
  • Offering and Communion — the offering and communion teams serve the church during the service by enabling others into the blessings of giving and holy communion.
  • Chancel Choir — Join to sing in the choir.
  • Bell Choir — It is fun to play bells in worship.
